Lester Mayo

April 15, 1935 — September 4, 2015

On April 15, 1935 in Washington Louisiana a wonderful Baby Boy was born to Rella Vallien Steward and Johnnie Mayo. Growing up as a child Lester began to work at a early age.
Lester spent most of his younger years in Louisiana. In 1960 He departed Louisiana and traveled many states. During his travel He worked on the Railroad.

Lester worked tirelessly, some of His work experiences would include
C-E NAACO and Oklahoma Steel where He worked as a Smelter.
Lester had the type of personality that tend to draw many people, which
resulted in close friends consistently stopping by to show their love.
Lester was fond of telling stories about His experiences in Alaska, Zanesville Ohio and Pennsylvania.

You could also find Lester enjoying Himself working on car tires and listening to His Blues in his garage. Lester also possessed a loving passion for loading the boat and hanging out with His Fishing Buddies.

Although, Lester health began to fail He continued to Fight the Good Fight of Faith. He surrendered on September 4, 2015 with His Salvation Assured He went Home to be With the Lord in the presences of His Daughter Dee and Wife.

Preceding Lester in Death is His Mother Rella Vallien Steward, His Father Johnnie Mayo. His Sister Josephine Mayo, His Daughter Lisa Mayo, His Son Aubrey Adams and Grandson Anthony Gibson Jr.

Leaving to cherish His precious Memories is His Wife Ms. Hildegard Bell-Mayo, His Sister Dianna Mayo , His Brother John Edward Mayo. His Children Debra Mayo Beane(Sam), Lois Mayo Capers, Donna Mayo Bundage(Clyde), Melissa Mayo Johnson(Gregory), Demetritia Bell. Eight Grandchildren , Charmaine Gibson-Spencer (Avery), Antoinette Bell, Everette Capers, Errin Capers, Kathyrn Capers, Kayman Bundage, Alise Bundage, Calvin Bundage, Ryan Mayo (Alicia). Seven Great-grandchildren, Trinity Henderson, Traevon Keys Jr., Ayden Spencer, Isiaiah Nash, Jerrimiah Bell, Kianna Mayo, Ja’Qwalin Mayo.

Although we will Miss Lester's warm loving spirit the Word of God says to be absent in the body is to be present with the Lord.
