Leslie Wayne Decamp

Leslie (Wayne) DeCamp age 57 of Glenpool, Oklahoma completed his life long journey on earth and took the hand of his Savior on February 24, 2006 at his home surrounded by loving family members.
He was born September 23, 1948 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Wayne graduated from Nathan Hale High School in 1966. Mr. DeCamp met the love of his life, Janice I. Mc Queeney DeCamp and they were united in marriage on December 21, 1965. In December of 2005 they celebrated their 40th anniversary. Wayne worked as a shop foreman at Midwest Precision, Inc. and after 29 years of dedicated service he retired.
Wayne was a member of the Nazarene Church and was a foster parent for 11 years.
He was preceded in death by his father: Francis Kenneth DeCamp; his step-mother: Elaine Ruth DeCamp; and his brother: Clarence Leo Wright, Jr.
Mr. DeCamp is survived by his son: a minor child, Rocky DeCamp of Glenpool, Oklahoma; daughter: Leslie Varner and husband, Truman Varner of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; son: Kenneth DeCamp and wife, Angie DeCamp of Jenks, Oklahoma; daughter: Tonya Brunner and fiancée, Brian Delancy of Tulsa, Oklahoma; eight grandchildren: Karessa Reynolds and husband, Chris Reynolds; Kyle Harris and fiancée, Charlotte Boston; Austin Brunner, Matthew Brunner, Kenzie DeCamp, Kaleb DeCamp, Jamie Mertins, Kaden DeCamp; two great grandchildren: Aubrey Reynolds and Zachery Reynolds. He is also survived by parents: Clarence and Patsy Wright; brothers: Dennis and wife, Joan DeCamp of Claremore, Oklahoma; Dale and wife, Erica Wright of Kansas; sisters: Becky and husband, David Meyers of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Marsha and husband, John Gerow of Florida along with numerous nieces, nephews and loving friends.
He will be remembered as the most wonderful Daddy on earth and adored Papa by his grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations are to be made to Calvary Church of the Nazarene or Faith Church of Glenpool.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, February 28, 2006 at Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Service from 9:00 a.m. til 8:00 p.m.
Funeral Service will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 1, 2006 at the Calvary Church of the Nazarene, 840 W. 81st Street Tulsa, OK with burial following at the Bixby Cemetery.
