Leslie Joe Davis

Leslie Joe Davis, a hardworking and beloved member of his community, passed away on June 18, 2023, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 62. He was born on December 5, 1960, in Chickasha, Oklahoma, to the late Wilma and Billy Davis. Leslie was a graduate of Muskogee High School and later attended Northeastern State University.

Les, as he was affectionately known by his friends, was a personable and charming individual who left a lasting impression on everyone he met. With his tall and handsome stature, he had a magnetic presence that drew people towards him. He was not only loved by his family but also by his extensive circle of friends. Les possessed an uncanny ability to make friends easily, and his fun-loving and caring nature made him a joy to be around.

One of Les's great passions was OU Sports. He could often be found cheering on his beloved Sooners with unwavering enthusiasm. His love for sports brought him closer to many people, and he cherished the camaraderie he shared with fellow fans.

Above all, Les was a dedicated family man who adored his children. He leaves behind his two children, Jake and Taylor Davis, who meant the world to him. In addition, he was a proud grandfather to his grandson, Sam. Les cherished the moments spent with his family and took great pride in being a loving father and grandfather.

Leslie will be deeply missed by his surviving siblings: Mary Herrington (Ron), Debra Davis, Marlin Davis (Robbie), as well as his nieces, nephews, and a multitude of friends. He was preceded in death by his sister, Teresa Sue Davis, and his parents, Wilma and Billy Davis.

Leslie Joe Davis will be remembered for his love for his family, and his ability to bring people together. His infectious spirit and caring nature will live on in the hearts of all those who were fortunate to have known him. May his soul find eternal peace, and may his family and friends find solace in the beautiful memories they shared with him.
