Leroy Allen Brown

Leroy Allen Brown, 92, of Tulsa, OK, passed away in the early morning hours of Thursday, October 5th, at Rolling Hills Care Center, Catoosa. He was born in Bristow, Oklahoma on June 29, 1925 to Mamie (Cook) and Joseph William Brown. He graduated from Bristow High School.

Leroy married the love of his life, Virginia Lee (Rodarmel) on September 7, 1946 in Dodge City, Kansas. They had four beautiful children. Leroy worked as a carpenter for many years and enjoyed remodeling and tending to his garden.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mamie (Cook) and Joseph William Brown; and son, Larry Brown.

Survivors include his loving wife, Virginia Lee (Rodarmel) Brown of their home; children, Sheryl Price of San Antonio, Texas, Dale Brown of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Ginette Brown Overall of Tulsa, Oklahoma; 7 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by his loving family.

A Memorial Service will be held 1:00 PM on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at Schaudt's Tulsa Funeral Service in Tulsa, Ok with Gary Volz officiating, with inurnment in Stroud City Cemetery, Stroud, Oklahoma.
