Leonard Jones

Leonard Joe Jones age 35 passed away Monday, December 6, 2010 at his residence in Bixby, Oklahoma.
Leonard was born July 14, 1975 in Riverside, California to Gordon Kent Jones and Shiela (LaGrange) Lemons. Leonard graduated with the Class of 1993 from Bishop Kelly High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He served in the United States Army for two years. Leonard worked as a Technical Engineer for Verizon for the past fourteen years. He volunteered yearly for search and rescue dog training. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and was competitive. Leonard also loved to cook for others.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother: Dorothy LaGrange of Riverside, California.
Leonard is survived by his mother and step-father: Shiela and Jim Lemons of Hartville, Missouri; his father: Gene of Willard, Missouri; his son: Brody Jones of Cushing, Oklahoma; his sister: Margaret Graham of Willard, Missouri; his three brothers: Gene Jiles of Glenpool, Oklahoma; James Jiles and Josh Jiles of Willard, Missouri; his special friend, Stacie Jones; his grandfather: Leonard LaGrange along with numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other family members, friends and acquaintances.

Services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 10, 2010 at Cornerstone Family Church, 3434 S. Garnett, Tulsa, Oklahoma. Pastor Jeff Voth will officiate.
