Lenora Mae Prosser, 90, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and daughter, entered her eternal rest on April 4, 2025.
Born May 17, 1934, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to DeCoy and Dillie (Holliday) Kaase, Lenora was the second oldest of nine children, and the oldest daughter. From a young age, she stepped into a nurturing role, helping raise her younger siblings with care and devotion. Even as a child, she had a servant's heart; always putting the needs of others before her own, a quality that never wavered throughout her life.
She married Bob Prosser of Crescent, Oklahoma, on October 27, 1956. They shared 63 years of marriage before his passing in 2020.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob; children, Darrell and Debra Prosser; her parents; and eight siblings.Lenora is survived by her daughter, Christy Parnell; son-in-law, Mark Parnell; grandson, Kaleb Thompson and his wife, Cecilia; along with numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
A talented seamstress from a young age, Lenora worked independently by her twenties and later created model garments for Cloth World for over 25 years. Her creative talents spanned crochet, knitting, embroidery, cross-stitch, painting, and crafts. She also had a deep love for animals-especially dogs-and found joy in houseplants and gardening.
For more than 40 years, Lenora was a dedicated member of St. Henry's Catholic Church in Owasso. She poured her talents into service, sewing altar cloths and baptismal bibs, serving as Women's Club president, and teaching second-grade CCD. Her faith and devotion were central to her life.
Above all, Lenora was devoted to her family. She had an unwavering love and a quiet strength that touched everyone around her. Her warmth, selflessness, and servant's heart-shaped from childhood and lived every day since-will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
A celebration of Lenora's life, including a funeral Mass and reception, will be held at St. Henry Catholic Church in Owasso. Service details are pending and will be announced at a later date.
