Lela Vail-Bingham, 98 years old, passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2011. She was born in Holdenville, OK on February 13, 1913 to Claudia and Fred Horn. She was married to Luther Noble Vail on September 28, 1929 in Holdenville, OK. They had nine children: Don, Dorotha, Mary Anne, Maxine, Franklin D. Roosevelt, Susan, Paul, Barbara and John. She lost her first husband in 1953 after twenty-three years of marriage. In 1954 she married Leonard Bingham. Lela was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother. Her children and extended family loved to seek her wise counsel in all matters of life. Preceding her in death are: her first husband, Luther, children: Franklin, Paul and Dorotha and her second husband, Leonard Bingham. She is survived by Don Vail and wife Kay, Mary Anne Giles and husband Bill, Maxine Vail, Susan Morrisett, Barbara Ryan, John Vail and wife Sue; step-children, Sybil and George Bingham, nineteen grandchildren, thirty-six great-grandchildren; and seven great great grandchildren along with many friends and loved ones. Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 6, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Service. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at Faith Church in Glenpool, Oklahoma. Arrangements were entrusted to Daniel C.
