Laura Richardson

Laura Moore Richardson was born on July 7th, 1934 in Tulsa, OK. She graduated from Will Rogers High School and attended the University of Tulsa where she was a member of the Chi Omega sorority and eventually met her husband, Don.

Laura and Don married on April 16th, 1955. Don was a fighter pilot in the United States Air Force. They spent their first year of marriage stationed in Braintree, England where they made many lifelong friends. They had 3 children, Kirk, Linda, and Mary Alice.

They spent their annual family vacations in Fort Walton Beach, Florida where their kids and grandkids still carry on that tradition. Laura and Don were married for 38 years until Don passed on Christmas Eve in 1993. Laura is remembered by her loved ones as being lighthearted and always looking for the humor in life.

She is survived by her 2 daughters, Linda Quinn and Mary Huskey. She was "Mema" to her 4 grandchildren, Tony Quinn, Susan Quinn, Alison Huskey Zimmerman, Chandler Huskey, and great grandson, Luke Zimmerman.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Don, sister, Mary Ann Moore Bolinger, and son, Kirk Richardson. She was loved deeply and will be greatly missed.

A graveside service will be held at 10 AM, Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at Memorial Park Cemetery, in Tulsa.
