Larry Wayne Crabtree, Sr.

Larry Wayne Crabtree Sr., age 78 passed away Saturday, June 18, 2016 at his Glenpool home surrounded by his loving family members.

Larry was born March 7, 1938 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to William and Monica Crabtree. Larry graduated from Union High School with the Class of 1959. He worked as a horse trainer in the equine industry for 50 years as the owner/operator of Crabtree Racing Team. He also stayed busy as a contractor of Larry Crabtree Masonry. He married Loretta Dean-Moore at the Church of the Nazarene in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Larry enjoyed going to church, traveling all across the United States to horse races, and was an avid OU football fan. He was quiet, honest, hard working, and a good family man.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, William and Monica Crabtree, his brother, Kenneth Crabtree, and his great-grandchild, Karson Pickery.

Larry is survived by his wife, Loretta, and two sons, Larry Wayne Crabtree Jr. and William Lee Crabtree, one brother, William Royal Crabtree (wife) Pequitta, three sisters, Terri Francis-Butler, Toni Stevens (husband) Richard, and Evonna Dickson, his grandchildren, William Todd Crabtree (wife) Kinsey, Larry Wayne Crabtree III, Kimberlee Renee Green (husband) Jeff, John David Crabtree (wife) Amanda, Amber Dawn Howard, Jodee Lee McMahan(husband) Justin , Brittany Lee Crabtree, Hailee Elaine Crabtree, and Addyson Crabtree, great-grandchildren, Colton, Reese, Kaylee, Araiha, Brycen, Isabella, Allyson, Justin, Easton, Karter, and Lincoln.

Visitation will be Wednesday, June 22, 2016 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Service, 719 E. 141st, Glenpool, OK. 74033.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 23, 2016 at Oak Grove Community Church, 34164 S. 209th W. Avenue, Bristow, Oklahoma 74010. Reverend Leon Barnhart will officiate. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Mounds, Oklahoma.
