Larry Walter Gordon Wheeler

Larry Walter Gordon Wheeler, 74, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away, Thursday, March 16, 2017 at Saint Francis Hospital.

He was the husband of Marie (Summers) Wheeler.

Larry was born in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, on July 31, 1942, the son of the late June (Stokx) and Walter Ezra Wheeler.

He worked as an artist, as well as, an interior designer. Larry was very devoted to his church. His hobbies included; avid car collector, landscaping, gardening, and home beautification.

He is preceded in death by his parents; Walter & June Wheeler, brother; Winston Wheeler, son; Michael Wheeler.

Larry leaves many loving memories with his family, wife; Marie Wheeler, daughters; Kelly and her husband Jim Scott, and Nicole Mercer; sister, Barbara Mantecon; brother, Bryan Wheeler; grandchildren; Alexandria Smith, Laurel Smith, Darrell L. Smith III, Colton Trippany, & Bohdi Trippany.

A memorial service is planned for Wednesday, March 22, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. and will be held at Sequoyah Hills Baptist Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sequoyah Hills Baptist Church 714 N Harvard Avenue, Tulsa, OK 74115.
