Larry Joe Counterman

Larry Joe Counterman, a resident of Schulter, Oklahoma passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2023. Larry was born in Henryetta, Oklahoma on October 29, 1948, to Howard Counterman Sr. and Ocie Mildred Prudence Stubbs Counterman.

Larry grew up in the Henryetta area and joined the Army in 1972. He married Jeanette Johnson in 1968 and they had four children.

Larry is preceded in death by one son, James Michael, his parents, four brothers Howard Jr., Bob, Bill, and John Counterman, and one sister Mary Gray.

Larry is survived by two daughters Karen and her husband Rob Cunningham, Jennifer Ann, one son William Charles, six grandchildren Melissa, Shawn, Brooke, Megan, Ruth Ellen, and Kaitlyn Michelle, and several nieces and nephews.

Larry will be missed by many.
