Lanette Miller

Lanette Miller, a cherished resident of Glenpool, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 18, 2024, at the age of 69. Born on June 21, 1955, in Muskogee, Oklahoma, Lanette was a beloved daughter to Granville and Lillian Edmonson.

A distinguished scholar and dedicated community member, Lanette graduated as Salutatorian from Bixby High School in the class of 1974. Her intellectual curiosity was evident throughout her life, particularly in her passion for researching genealogy and indulging in coloring on her phone.

Lanette is lovingly remembered by her devoted husband, Les Miller, and her mother, Lillian Edmonson. She is survived by her brother, Mike Edmonson of Leonard, as well as her sisters, Sue Madland and Tracy Stevenson of Tulsa. Lanette's family also includes three nephews: Chris Humphrey of Leonard, Jeremy Edmonson of Coweta, and Johnny Reed of Broken Arrow, along with two great-nephews, Stryker Edmonson of Coweta and Jordan Reed of Broken Arrow.

Lanette was preceded in death by her father, Granville Edmonson, and her sister, Sherrell Reed.

Her warmth, kindness, and love will be profoundly missed by all who knew her.
