Laneal Babb Crawford

Laneal (Babb) Crawford passed away Monday, June 9, 2014 at her residence in Tulsa with her loving family by her side. She was born December 8, 1937 in Mt. Pleasant, OK to Noel and Frances Babb. Laneal grew up in southeastern Oklahoma and graduated from Poteau High School in 1956. She married Larry Crawford on December 23, 1956 at the Immanuel Baptist Church in Poteau. Laneal attended college at Eastern Oklahoma State University as well as Oklahoma State University. She loved researching genealogy, painting, photography, and animals always had a special place in her heart. Laneal was very spiritual and a follower of Jesus Christ. She and Larry loved to watch Boston Avenue Church's television program. Their favorite vacation spot was Mexico Beach, Florida.

Laneal was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Ian Douglas Babb.

She is survived by her husband Larry of Tulsa; son and daughter-in-law Doug and Gina Crawford of Tulsa, daughter and son-in-law Angie and Terry Lynn of Broken Arrow; 5 grandchildren Ryan and Christina Crawford of Charleston, SC, Allison, David, and Ryan Lynn of Broken Arrow; one great-grandchild Vayda Crawford of Charleston, SC; three sisters Jane Smith of Tulsa, Yvonne Miller of Sapulpa, and Robbie Paquette of Tulsa; sister-in-law Mickey Bray of Alma, AR, several nieces, nephews, and other family members.

Visitation will be held 7:00 - 8:00 PM Wednesday at the Schaudt-Teel Funeral Service. Services are scheduled for 11:00 AM Thursday at the Schaudt-Teel Funeral Service Chapel. Entombment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Reception will follow at Schaudt-Teel Funeral Service.
