Lana Jean Mcguire

Lana Jean (McCombs) McGuire age 63 passed away December 11, 2011 at her residence in Jenks, Oklahoma. Lana was born December 2, 1948 to Walter and Lola McCombs in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. She attended schools in Avant, Oklahoma. On January 6, 1966 she married Leslie L. McGuire. Lana was a homemaker. Lana loved spending time with her family - especially her grandchildren. At Christmas time she made cookies and candy for her grandchildren and they looked forward to this treat each year. Lana was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Lola McCombs, her daughter Tina Dawn Heeter, one brother and five sisters. She is survived by her loving husband, Leslie McGuire of Jenks; her daughter Jamie Peer and her husband Mike of Tulsa; her siblings Emily Oakley of Sapulpa, Cleon McCombs of Tulsa, Marlene Evans of Tulsa, Jessie McCombs and his wife, Sharon of Tulsa, Larry McCombs and his wife, Sandra of Tulsa, grandchildren: Nicholas Peer, Alexander Lord, Hayden Peer, Alyson Lord, Hannah Peer, Corbin Lord, Jade Lord along with other family members and friends. Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Service. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at Schaudt's Funeral Service Chapel. Pallbearers are: Ronny Oakley, Gary Oakley, Kenny Oakley, Nick Peer, Hayden Peer and Alex Lord. Honorary Pallbearers are: Mike Peer, Donnie Lord, Cleon McCombs, Jessie McCombs and Larry McCombs.
