A Memorial Service will be held honoring and celebrating the life of Kourtney MariQuel (Miller) Davis on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at Broadway Baptist Church, Sand Springs, Oklahoma with Pastor William Ray officiating. Kourtney passed away Sunday, May 27, 2018 after a long battle in her home with her family by her side. She was 29.

Kourtney was born July 21, 1988 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Inga M. Brown and Kent G. Miller.

She grew up in Sand Springs and was a 2006 graduate from Charles Page High School. After graduation, Kourtney continued her education at Northeastern State University and later transferred to Brown Mackie College where she earned her degree as an Occupational Therapist Assistant in March of 2015.

She was employed at the UPS Store in Sand Springs, OK and the Laura ester Children's Shelter in Tulsa, OK.

On August 28, 2016 she married the love of her life, Darryl Lynn Davis, Jr. in Kellyville, Oklahoma.

Together they enjoyed traveling and visiting family. One of Kourtney’s favorite places to visit was San Antonio, Texas. When she wasn't traveling she spent her time reading, listening to country music and being a great mother. Kourtney was the life of the party and always had a smile on her face. She had a bubbly personality and a big heart. She will be greatly missed.

Kourtney was a member at Gap Ministry and was on their Praise and Worship Team. She was also involved in the Parent Teach Association and a homeroom mom at Limestone Elementary.

She is preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents, Charlotte and Author (Bud) Brown and Andre J. and Lavenear Miller; aunt, Shirin Brown and uncle, C. Jamal Brown.

Survivors include her husband, Darryl Lynn Davis, Jr.; son, Kelby Miller; daughters, Keniya Jorden and Kyler Davis; mother, Inga Brown; father, Kent Miller and his wife, Yashica L.; three brothers, Xavier Brown and his wife, Rachel Young, Keon M. Miller and his wife, Kayla and Kent G. Miller Jr. and one sister, Tanika Elam. She also leaves her grandparents, Charles and Helen “Granny” Benton; mother-in-law, Barbara Mitchell and father-in-law, Darryl Davis and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, relatives and friends.
