Kevin Reed Casey

Kevin Reed Casey age 48 passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 surrounded by loving family and friends.

Kevin was born in Pryor, Oklahoma on May 16, 1967 to Lawrence Casey and Betty (Purcell) Vought. He graduated from Pryor High School in 1985. Kevin attended NSU and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice. He also met his future wife, Ronda Morgan, at NSU and they married on March 21, 1993. During their 22 years of friendship and love they were blessed with their son, Kaden Reed Casey on January 20, 2006.


Kevin was an avid OU football fan, attending all home games for the past 25 years. He also enjoyed riding his Harley, fishing, and attending concerts. Most of all, Kevin loved spending time coaching Kaden's athletic teams, including basketball, soccer, and baseball. Due to Kaden's love of basketball they are both huge OKC Thunder fans. They also spent many summer days hanging out at the "Casey Ponderosa" swimming pool.


While being owner/operator of Simple Simon's Pizza in Bixby for 18 years he was involved in various community service and fundraising events to support local schools, churches and clubs. In November of 2009 Kevin became co-owner of W.R. Thorpe with his mother, Betty Vought.

Kevin is survived by his wife, Ronda, his son, Kaden, his mother Betty Vought, his mother in-law and her husband, Ann and Jim Parker, his father in-law and his wife, Ron and Trisha Morgan, his brother in-law and nephew, Rob Morgan and Brady Morgan, as well as many treasured family members and friends.


He was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Casey and stepfather, Wallace Vought.
Visitation is Sunday, January 31, 2016 from 2:00 until 6:00 p.m. at Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Service, 719 E. 141st Street, Glenpool, Oklahoma.


Funeral service is 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 1, 2016 at Faith Church, 171st & Highway 75, Glenpool, Oklahoma. Pastor Jarvis Cannon will officiate. Interment will follow at South Heights Cemetery, Sapulpa, Oklahoma
