Kenneth Eugene Miller

Dr. Kenneth Miller, 67, of Sapulpa, OK died on Saturday, October 23, 2021 from results of the incurable disease ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis) also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease.
Patients who have this are often referred to as warriors, and he definitely fought hard.

He was a beloved professor and research scientist for over 20 years serving both the OSU Center for Health Sciences Medical School and OU School of Medicine.

His life was a celebration of his love for family, books, science, the out of doors, conversation, humor, teaching and research. Talking was always a learning experience when Ken was involved, and you had to be sharp to keep up with his dry wit.

Ken is survived by his wife, Julie, daughter Ana (Steve) Cudeck and son Benjamin (Yulie) Miller. his large extended family along with a close knit group of friends.

He was preceded in death by family members, father Dr. Howard Miller, mother Netty Geraldine Miller Young, and sister Jeanette (Miller) Zortman.

A memorial service is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. Thursday, November 4, 2021 at the First United Methodist Church, 1115 South Boulder Ave., Tulsa, OK. 74119.

Our heartfelt thanks to the staff at the Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN, Barnes Home Health Care and Dr. Dunnaway, Neurology Dept., St. John's Hospital, Tulsa, the Oklahoma chapter of the ALS Association and local ALS support groups.

The support and help of his caregiver, Marissa Seilhymer will never be forgotten and the presence of our wonderful helpers from A-Vow Hospice were invaluable.
