Kenneth Charles Downen

Kenneth Charles Downen passed away Thursday, October 2 at his residence in Tulsa. He was born July 9, 1940 in Grand Junction, Colorado to Howard and Frieda Downen. Kenneth graduated from Grand Junction High School in 1958 and received his bachelor's degree in accounting from Central State University. He married Myra Lomenick in Grand Junction on June 12, 1959. He worked as an accountant in the aerospace industry for many years.

Mr. Downen is survived by his wife Myra; his daughter Cherl Lynn Sanders and his son Steven Charles Downen; grandson James Robert Reza and his granddaughter Bailey Nicole Downen; his brother Theodore Downen; and four nephews Garrett, Trevor, Trace, and Bryce.

A memorial ceremony is scheduled for 2:00 PM Thursday, October 9 in the chapel at Schaudt-Teel.
