Kenneth C. Martin, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma passed on January 7, 2021. Kenneth was born February 22, 1931 in Syracuse, Kansas to J.C. and Elizabeth Nagel Martin. He grew up in Mullinville, Kansas.
In 1949, he married Betty Rader. Ken and Betty had two sons, Kerry and Bruce. This union lasted 68 years until Betty’s death in 2017. Ken worked for Northern Natural Gas Company and retired in 1987. After retiring, he and Betty moved to Mesa, Arizona and enjoyed summers in Colorado. In 2014, they moved to Broken Arrow, Oklahoma to be near their son and daughter-in-law, Bruce and Kay Martin. He was a life-long member of the United Methodist Church.
Ken was preceded in his death by his wife Betty, his parents, son Kerry, and brothers Elton (Dot) and Vernon (Sue). He is survived by his son, Bruce (Kay), four granddaughters, Suzanne Titus, (Rick), Amber Plumlee, (Geoff), Janie Henderson, (Buster) and Kristen Pettey, (Brian), 7 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild as well as one sister, Norma Baysdorfer of Mesa, AZ.
Memorials can be made to the Mullinville United Methodist Church, 220 N. Locust, Mullinville, KS 67109.
