A memorial service to honor and celebrate the life of Kelvin Terrance Reid will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, July 21, 2018 at Christ United Methodist Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Kelvin Terrance Reid, age 56, passed away at his home in Tulsa, Oklahoma on July 5, 2018 with his loving family by his side. Kelvin was born on February 26, 1962 in Caldicott, Wales, United Kingdom to Terrance Reid and Gillian Churcher. Starting at the age of 17, Kelvin started working in Wales for the railroad and worked his way up to be a train engineer. He was a hardworking , loyal and dedicated man and spent the past 14 years of his career working for Paragon Films. He also spent time being a ham radio operator.He was able to study for and pass the Basic test and General test and his call sign was KG8ALS. He loved to listen to other HAM radio operators from around the world.

Kelvin was a very active young man growing up and loved to be playing soccer, rugby and cricket. His love for sports and desire to stay active continued throughout his life and gave him his passion for running and he was known as "The UltraCowboy" to those that knew him in the racing community. He was an accomplished ultrarunner. His favorite race distance was 100 miles and he completed five 100 mile races and many 50 milers,50ks and marathons.In all of his ultra races he always wore his cowboy hat and had his goatee dyed a different color.He loved being part of the running community and was the inspiration to all who knew him!

He poured his heart and soul into everything he did and always had a positive outlook on all things in life. No matter how tough it was,he was always smiling. Kelvin was kind hearted, loving and made sure that no one ever felt like a stranger to him. He was a personable guy and always tried to connect with you on some level about your life. He loved to talk and had many stories to tell. His Welsh accent was unforgettable . He was a loving husband, father, son, brother and friend that will be greatly missed by all the lives he has touched. He was deeply loved by so many. Kelvin was a Christian and read the Bible through twice. He is with his Savior Jesus now and is running the streets of gold . His faith never wavered and he never gave up. He remained steadfast and strong to the end and is a witness to Gods Amazing Grace and mercy.

Those he leaves to cherish his memories are his loving wife, Jessica Lynne Reid (Hermann); mother, Bertha Gillian Churcher (Price); sister, Marion Jean Prosser-Davies; children, Llyod Kelvin Reid, Garreth Michael Reid, Jessica Emma Figart (Reid);,Matthew Ryan Moore,grandchildren, Liam Reid, Jack Reid, David Michael Figart Jr., John Kelvin Figart, Sally Michelle Figart; niece, Amelia Prosser-Davies and a host of family and friends who will deeply miss him.
