Kaye F. Jeffers, age 60 was called home to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday, April 24, 2008 at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Kaye was born March 9, 1948 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Robert J. Farris and Fern (Sharp) Farris. Kaye graduated from Edison High School in 1966. She was IFC Sweetheart and Football Queen at Tulsa University where she received a degree in Elementary Education in 1970. Kaye married her high school sweetheart, Bill Jeffers on December 20, 1969. Kaye and Bill are members of First Baptist Church in Tulsa. Kaye enjoyed working with her husband, Bill, and other members of their family for 38 years at Discoveryland! and World Changers, Inc.. Kaye's hobbies were spending time with her grandchildren, tending to her flowers, watching birds and most of all, spending time with her husband who she loved dearly.
Kaye was preceded in death by her father: Robert J. Farris.
Kaye is survived by her loving husband of 38 years: William (Bill) Thomas Jeffers Jr. of Jenks; her daughter: Kristi Busatti and her husband, David of Wichita, Kansas; her daughter: Jennifer Kaiser and her husband, Chris of Bixby; and her son: William Thomas (Trey) Jeffers, III and his wife, Kyla of Jenks; her mother: Fern Farris of Tulsa; two brothers: Robert S. Farris and his wife, Pam of Tulsa; Fred S. Farris and his wife, Whitney of Newport News, Virginia; her father and mother in-law: William Thomas and Rose Jeffers of Sand Springs, Oklahoma along with her six precious grandchildren: Christian Kaiser, Lilly Kaye Busatti, Colton Kaiser, Camden Busatti, Brylie Jeffers, and Cade Kaiser.
Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Sunday, April 27th at Schaudt's Funeral Service, Glenpool, Oklahoma. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, April 28, 2008 at First Baptist Church, 403 S. Cincinnati, Downtown Tulsa. Reverend Deron Spoo will officiate. Interment immediately following at Memorial Park Cemetery, Tulsa, Oklahoma.
