Kathy Jo Robison

A celebration of life honoring and remembering the life of Kathy Jo (Murphy) Robison will be held 2:00 PM Friday, December 8, 2017 at Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Service. Kathy passed away Friday, December 1, 2017 with her family by her side. She was 59.

Kathy was born September 23, 1958 to Joseph Murphy and JoAnn (Holmes) Murphy in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The family moved from Collinsville to Sapulpa when Kathy was the age of three.

She was a 1976 graduate from Sapulpa High School. On December 31, 1981 she married Dale Robison in Gainesville, Texas. Kathy and Dale moved to Houston, Texas in 1984 and eventually made their way back to Oklahoma in 1989 when they purchased their own pizza parlor, Simple Simon's. After they closed the business in March of 2016, the family moved back into her childhood home in Tulsa where she resided until her passing.

She was most recently was employed at Wal-Mart as a stocker.

Kathy enjoyed riding on the motorcycle with her husband, Dale. She looked forward to when her grandkids would come visit and when she would go out to eat with her family and friends. Kathy will be remembered as a sweet and caring person. She would do anything for anyone. She will be greatly missed by many.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Murphy and JoAnn (Holmes) Murphy and a sister, Marilyn Murphy.

Surviving include her loving husband, Dale Robison; four children, Beth Lawson and her husband, Jason, Grant Robison, Patrick Robison, and Stacy Cody and her husband, Kerry; four grandchildren, Teighlor, Kristen, Weston, and Hunter, and soon a great-granddaughter, Ruth Ryan. She also leaves three brothers, Pat Murphy, Eric Williams, and Jacob Williams.
