Kathy Elaine Christian

Kathy was a wonderful woman that was loved, is greatly missed, and will always be cherished. Kathy was a store owner and retired to work on her hobby farm for the last 27 years. She adored her nieces and nephews and grandchildren. She was very proud of her family. She loved celebrating the holidays and cooking for way too many people. Her amazing rolls, chocolate cakes, and spaghetti pie will never be replaced. Kathy's story begins in Wenatchee Washington (May 13, 1948) the eldest child of Joe and Minnie White of Mountain Home, Arkansas. When Kathy was still young the family including her siblings, Sharon Varsane and Mike White traveled with their parents across the country. Their family settling down in Sage and Melbourne Arkansas this is where she would spend her childhood, grow up, make life-long friends. In 1960, the family moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma where Joe and Minnie welcomed a third sibling Russell White of Owasso. Kathy went to East Central High School married and had a daughter Angela Fox. In 1980 Kathy met the love of her life Arthur Ray Christian and his two sons Michael and Matthew from Bixby Oklahoma. They had a whirlwind romance and were married in Tulsa on May 29, 1981 and were together for 40 years. Kathy and Art spent many hardworking years on the family hobby farm outside of Morris, Oklahoma. Kathy loved having her "little ones" Jacob and Kaitlin White, Madison Newell, and Benton Christian come visit the farm to fish, play, and feed the cows. Kathy loved planting her trees, flowers, and random stray plants and crazy vines she picked up on her travels from moving her daughter from state to state while in school. Kathy and Art attend and love their church One Church in Glenpool Oklahoma, and the people of this church love them back.
Loved ones that cleared the path on May 14, 2021 for Kathy are her parents Joe Ray and Minnie Irene White, grandparents Gladys and Homer Helm, Earl and Dorothy White, Aunt Melda Cone, Uncle Jimmy T Helm, and cousins Baxter Cone and Mary Lou Tucker. The many loved ones that will miss Kathy until they all meet again are her husband Arthur Ray Christian; her daughter Angela Fox; her son Michael Christian and daughter-in-law Margaret, son Ted Newell; her son Matthew Christian and daughter-in-law Benita Christian. Kathy's siblings Sharon and Bob Varsane, Michael White, and Russell White and his wife Sheri White (Cotney) and the Cotney Family, the many members of the Helm, Copeland, and White family. Kathy's grandchildren and nieces and nephews (her little ones) Jacob White, Kaitlyn White, Madison Newell, Benton Christian. And so the story will go on and until we see our Mom, Wife, Mimi, Auntie again. We love you and miss you so much Mom.
