Kathleen Diann Hodge (Cowsert) was born on February 27, 1955, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and peacefully departed this world on September 29, 2023. She was a woman of grace, love, and unwavering devotion to her family and friends.
Kathy's journey began in Tulsa, where she attended Nathan Hale High School and later pursued higher education at Oklahoma State University. After her academic endeavors, Kathy embarked on a fulfilling career that culminated in her retirement from the Bank of Oklahoma in 2020. Her dedication and hard work left a lasting impact on her colleagues and the institution she served.
Kathy's life was profoundly shaped by the love and guidance of her beloved parents, Billy and Georgia Cowsert, who preceded her in death. Their memory remained a source of strength and inspiration throughout her life.
Kathy is survived by her devoted son, Michael Hodge, and his loving wife, Heather Hodge of Jenks, Oklahoma, and her cherished daughter, Amanda McCaslin, along with her caring husband, Chris McCaslin, of Bixby, Oklahoma. Kathy took immense pride in her role as a grandmother, and her heart swelled with love for Mariah Hodge of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, and Callie McCaslin of Bixby, Oklahoma.
Kathy's life was marked by her deep appreciation for the simple joys of spending time with family and friends. She had a remarkable ability to light up any room with her infectious laughter and warm smile. Her home was always open, and her heart was ever-welcoming. Kathy leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories that will continue to resonate in the hearts of those who knew her.
We celebrate Kathy as a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend. Her kindness, generosity, and unwavering love have left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
