Karen Sue Overstreet

Karen Sue (Wallace) Overstreet age 63 passed away Saturday, August 15, 2009 at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Karen was born March 19, 1946 in Wyandotte, Oklahoma to Ed Wallace and Sally Ima (Thomas) Wallace. Karen attended Velma-Alma High School in Velma, Oklahoma. She married the love of her life, Kenneth on August 24, 1962 in Velma. Karen was a homemaker and liked to cook, raise her family and liked working in her flower garden. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Glenpool. Karen was preceded in death by her parents: Ed and Sally Wallace, her son: Kelly Scott Overstreet (August 8, 2008); one brother Larry Wallace and one sister, Margaret Martin. She is survived by her loving husband: Kenneth Wayne Overstreet of Glenpool, Oklahoma; her brother: Ed Wallace, Jr. and his wife, Bernice; her sister: Marjorie Rogers widow of Walt; her step-father: Scott Bush; her twin sons: Kevin Wayne Overstreet and his wife, Catherine Elizabeth, Keith Ray Overstreet; her ten grandchildren: Sheree Michael Overstreet, Kristopher Wayne Overstreet, William Charles Overstreet, Andrew James Overstreet, Heith Ray Overstreet, Kyle Aaron Overstreet, Brittney Leigh-Ann Overstreet, Nicholas Scott Overstreet,Taylor Danielle Overstreet, Kenneth William Overstreet, three great grandchildren: Kaelyn Rae Overstreet, Keegan Aaron Overstreet, Serenity Eve Vacek along with other family members and friends.
Visitation will be Monday, August 17, 2009 from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Service, Glenpool, Oklahoma.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. First Baptist Church in Glenpool, OK. Reverend Ron Baker will officiate.
Interment will be on Wednesday, August 18, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at New Velma Cemetery in Velma, Oklahoma.
