Karen Lynne Mckenzie

Karen McKenzie passed away peacefully after a long hard battle with cancer on March 13, 2018 at the age of 55 with her loving family by her side.

Karen was born in Tulsa, OK to Kenneth Bynum and Hazel J' Nell Bynum. Karen spent her life growing up in Liberty Mounds, where she graduated high school in 1982. Karen married Kenneth Mckenzie on April 26, 1985 at Liberty Heights Baptist Church in Liberty Mounds, Oklahoma. The two of them have spent 32 years of marriage together since.

Karen was a go getter and was always up for whatever came her way. She enjoyed working in her flower beds and spending time at their lake house in Eufala with her family. Most importantly, she loved shopping and they could not go anywhere without her having to go shopping first.

Karen is preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Bynum.

She is survived by her loving husband, Kenneth McKenzie; mother, J'Nell Bynum; brother, Duane Bynum, wife Linda; brother in laws, Jack McKenzie, wife Cindy, and Mike Mckenzie and many other friends and family that will forever cherish her memories.

A memorial service to honor and celebrate the life of Karen Mckenzie is scheduled to be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, March 24 at the One Church in Glenpool, Oklahoma.
