Karen Louise Bryant

Karen Louise Bryant beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother passed away at 1:35 p.m. Tuesday, May 11, 2005 at Saint Francis Hospital, Tulsa, Oklahoma surrounded by her family members. Mrs. Bryant and her husband most recently moved to Glenpool, Oklahoma from Latrobe, Pennsylvania.
Karen was born in Latrobe, Pennsylvania on July 15, 1957 to Felix Reffo and Rita Laughner Reffo. In 1975 she graduated from Derry High School in Derry, Pennsylvania. Karen married Joe S. Bryant on March 5, 1996 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. Karen started a tire store business in 1982. Her working career covered being a cashier at Dollar General Store; she was a certified nurse's aide and a homemaker.
Karen loved celebrating holidays especially Christmas and 4th of July. She got great pleasure caring for her pet ferrets and cats. Karen liked buying gifts for her relatives, babies and young children and in her leisure time she enjoyed watching old movies.
Karen is survived by her parents: Felix and Rita Reffo,of Derry, Pennsylvania; 3 sisters: Janet, Sandra and Beverly of Latrobe, Pennsylvania; 1 brother: Keith Reffo of Derry, Pennsylvania; husband: Joe Bryant, Glenpool, Oklahoma; 2 children: a son: Michael of Ft. Campbell, Kentucky; a daughter: Melissa of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and 1 grandchild.
A memorial service will be held Monday, May 16th at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Glenpool with Reverend John Lay officiating.
