Karen Juanita-Elizabeth Harber

Karen Juanita-Elizabeth Harber, 56, of Mounds, Oklahoma, passed away Wednesday, August 30, 2017, with her loving family by her side at Porta Caeli Hospice in Tulsa, Oklahoma, after battling cancer for many years.

Karen was born on July 27, 1961, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She married Tom Harber in March of 1981, and two daughters were born from this union. Karen was baptized in the late 1980's and spent her entire life looking forward to the promises mentioned in the Bible, regarding, a time where no sickness is present (Is. 33:24 and Rev. 21:3,4) and life in a peaceful earthly paradise as promised in Ps. 37:10,11, 29.

Karen was known for being very creative in the world of arts and crafts and loved to put her own rustic touch on everything she made. She also, loved spending time with her daughters and grandchildren. Some of Karen's best memories were from living near the South Carolina beaches with her family and taking impromptu trips with all of "the girls." She loved embracing God's creation by spending time outdoors and working in her yard and gardens.

Karen was known by many, for having the kindest heart and the ability to make friends with anybody. She was a great listener and was always there to talk, whenever, her loved ones needed her. One of her best qualities was putting others needs and feelings before her own, even during times of battling an intense illness. Karen is survived by her husband of 38 years; Tom Harber, two daughters; Tomi Morgan and Jennifer Mullin, and four grandchildren; Jacob Harber, Haylin Harber, Blayze Morgan, and Mason Morgan.
