Judy Shipman

Judy Ann Shipman, a resident of Agra, Oklahoma, passed away on Friday, September 2, 2011 in Cushing, Oklahoma at the age of 39. She was born on June 25, 1972 in Stigler, Oklahoma to Fred and Aline (Snow) Nixon. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Aline Nixon and husband Ronnie Shipman and brother, Johnny Nixon. Survivors include her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Louise and Don Rodgers of Agra, and mother-in-law and father-in-law, Lola and Marion Shipman of Okmulgee, OK, four sisters, Lillie Cauthon of McCurtain, OK, Irene Hudlow of McCurtain, OK, Ruth Burkert of McCurtain, OK, and Ruby Nixon of McCurtain, OK; 7 Brothers: Ray Nixon of McCurtain, OK, Willie Nixon of Spiro, OK, Norman Nixon of McCurtain, OK, Donald Nixon of McCurtain, OK, Jimmy Nixon of Muskogee, OK, Curtis Nixon of Gans, OK, and Henry Nixon of McCurtain, OK; Sister-in-law: Debbie Ashing of Agra, OK; 2 Brother-in-laws: Doyle Shipman of Cushing, OK, and Doy Shipman of Okmulgee, OK; special niece and nephews, Emily and Trevor as well as many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Friday, September 9, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. at the Shurden-Jackson Funeral Home Chapel in Okmulgee with Brother Notchie Twist and Pastor Lillie Cauthon officiating. Burial will follow the service at the Okmulgee Cemetery under the direction of the Shurden-Jackson Funeral Home in Okmulgee. Pallbearers will be Willie Nixon, Donald Nixon, Henry Nixon, Franklin Nixon, Billy Nixon, Doy Shipman, Ronnie Brown, Jimmie Nixon, Thomas Shelby and Doyle Shipman.
