Juanita Penn, age 88, passed away Sunday, January 1, 2017 at her Okmulgee residence surrounded by loving family.

Juanita was born January 12, 1928 in Stigler, Oklahoma to Claude and Ethel (Moyer) Sullivan.
Juanita was the first meter maid in Okmulgee. She worked for the city as a dispatcher and retired as the City Treasurer.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 68 years Raymond Penn, siblings Jim Sullivan, Leroy Sullivan, Carl Sullivan, Shirley Sullivan Moore and Inez Sullivan Vanlandingham.

Left to cherish her memory are sons Raymond McKinley Penn and James Paul Penn both of Okmulgee and a granddaughter Shanna Robison of McAlester.

Services are Monday, January 9, 2017, 10:00 am in the Schaudt’s Okmulgee Chapel, 220 S. Alabama. Internment to be in the Okmulgee Cemetery.
