Joyce E. Goolsby

Joyce E. Goolsby, a Jenks resident, passed away November 29, 2014 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Joyce was born in Wichita, Kansas on October 28, 1944 to Glen and Maxine (Rousey) Brock.
She went to South High School in Wichita, Kansas and graduated with the Class of 1962, she went on to earn an Associate Degree at Northeastern State University in Criminal Law. Joyce was a master gardener, she loved yard work and raising chickens, couponing and genealogy. She enjoyed life, her family and everyone around her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger, her parents, Glen and Maxine Brock, her brother Stanley G. Brock and her step son, Timmy Goolsby.

Joyce leaves many wonderful memories with her family, she is survived by her stepson: David Goolsby and his wife Vonn, step daughter: Wendi McKenzie and her husband Jerry Hawkins, sisters: Brenda McKean her husband Merle of Muskogee, and Glenda West of Wichita, KS her grandchildren: Tara Martel and husband Marty of PA, Jennifer Rawlings and Husband Zack, of Tulsa, OK, Roger Goolsby and wife Kerri of Ada, OK, Hayley Goolsby of Sperry, OK, Colton McKenzie of Norman, OK, Austin McKenzie of Oklahoma City, OK, and four great grandchildren: Jacey Martel, Jackson Martel, Lexxi Goolsby and Hannah Rawlings along with other family members, many nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

Visitation will be held from 1:00pm - 5:00pm Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at Schaudt's Funeral Service Chapel in Glenpool.

Graveside Service is 2:00pm Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at the Tahlequah City Cemetery in Tahlequah, Oklahoma with Pastor Sean McKean officiating.
