Joyce C. Bailey

Joyce C. Bailey, a resident of Okmulgee, passed away Thursday, February 11, 2010 at the age 72. She was born on Saturday, April 24, 1937 to Charles Edward and Audry (Cooper) Doyle in Weleetka, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Hayward Norman Bailey in 1969; son, Gregory Bailey. sister, Carmealeta Hardin and Mary K. Crawford; grandson, Jesse Lee Earnest. Survivors include her daughter, Sandra Gayle Earnest of Okmulgee; two sons, Bruce W. Bailey of Okmulgee and Ronald N. Bailey and wife, Debbie of Owasso; sister, Allowee Webb of Natura; two grandchildren, Ker’a Jo Earnest and Joseph Hummingbird and numerous great grandchildren. Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 15, 2010 at the Okmulgee Cemetery. Burial will follow the service under the direction of the Shurden-Kelley Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Monday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Shurden-Kelley Funeral Home.
