CLICK HERE TO VIEW MEMORIAL VIDEO Joy "Lynnie" (McClure) Pounds age 74 passed away Thursday, May 30, 2013 at St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Lynnie was born February 15, 1939 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma to James Henry McClure and Joy Dean (Seidle) McClure. She graduated from Odessa High School in 1957. Lynnie married Archie Pounds, Jr. in Odessa, Texas on April 28, 1961. Lynnie worked as a secretary for Dayspring Behavioral Health Services and Duncan Christian School. She enjoyed scrap booking, shopping and spending time with her family; especially her grandchildren. Lynnie was a person who loved God. She was a member of New Spring Family Church in Jenks, Oklahoma. Lynnie was preceded in death by her parents: James and Joy McClure. She is survived by her husband, Archie M. Pounds, Jr. of Tulsa, her daughters: LeGaye Young, Judith Dowd and her husband, John of Tulsa, her sister: Cheri Denton and her husband Buford, her grandsons: Wesley Young and his wife, Elizabeth of Kansas City, MO, Adam Young of Tulsa, Justin Dowd, Jason Dowd of Tulsa, her granddaughter: Anna Young Kyonda and her husband, Peter of Chesapeake, Virginia along with other family members and friends. Visitation is 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday, June 2, 2013 at Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Service. Funeral service is 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 3, 2013 at New Spring Family Church, 2907 West 108th Place South, Jenks, Oklahoma. Pastor Greg Ables will officiate.
