Joshua Akheem Stuart

Joshua Akheem Stuart, 22 years old, died on Sunday June 7, 2020 in Tulsa. Josh was born on March 2, 1998 in Claremore, Oklahoma. He and his biological brother Caleb were both adopted by his father Andrew Stuart and mother Sarah Panther on February 18, 2005. Along with his mother, father and brother, he is also survived by his three other siblings, Emily, Kathryn, and Austin, his stepmother Barbara, his grandparents Paula Charboneau, Terry and Beverly Panther, Jan and Jim Massey, and Royal and Jane Stuart.

Even though Josh left this world at such a young age, he had more wisdom than his years due to his inquisitive nature and constant barrage of questions to every one of his family members. The questions could range from the simple ones regarding the immediate world around him, to more complex ones that sometimes made you question your own beliefs and understandings. No matter the answer, Josh would find a way to argue the opposite opinion and never took any information at face value.

Josh loved to joke around and his laughter was contagious to those around him. He loved to tease his siblings and would have the whole family laughing as a result. Although he might not have admitted it, he always loved playing games with younger children, especially his siblings and cousins. Josh was always taking care of others and made sure that other’s needs were met before taking care of himself.

Josh enjoyed taking photographs and found beauty in the world around him. He also enjoyed Manga and Anime, playing video games, and watching a good movie or television series.

Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, June 12, 2020 at Schaudt Funeral Home, 5757 S Memorial Drive, Tulsa, OK 74145. Casual dress.
