A Mass will be held for Jose de Jesus Puente, Friday, March 23, 2018 10 AM at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Tulsa with a public viewing following the service.

Jose de Jesus Puente, died on March 20, 2018, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was born on 1971, January 3rd, in Monterrey Nuevo Leon, Mexico to Jose Isidro Puente Hernandez and Gisela Cruz Lopez.

Jose married the love of his life, Claudia Garcia on February 23, 1991 in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico.

He was a technician for 6 years. Most recently, he was self employed as an electrical contractor.

Jose loved spending time with his son Kaleff, 17, watching Star Wars, playing football, working and fishing time to time. He was a good teacher and a role model to his son. Jose loved his daughter Leonela, 19, so much, he cared and cherished her more than anything, gave her anything and everything she asked for. She was daddy’s princess.

He loved his wife Claudia, she was his true joy. He loved her so much he did everything for her, put on her socks, cook, bring her coffee, take her out and always cover her up. He was a true family man that provided for his family. He never once let them down. A true man of his words. People all over Tulsa knew him and cared for him for being an amazing electrician.

Jose had a sense of humor that was beyond imaginable and a smile that was so amazing, especially after watching his favorite soccer team win. He loved sports with a passion, he played soccer and football during his youth and was always the team captain. Jose enjoyed working with insects and studying them on his free time and learning something new every day. He was so amazing and charismatic , his love for his family will forever be felt.
