Johnnie Mae Emerson

Johnnie Mae Emerson passed away with loving family by her side Thursday, November 25, 2021, at the age of 65 years.
Johnnie was born Sunday, August 12, 1956, in Toomsuba, MS to her parents, Issac and Augusta (Pringle) Betts.
She met the love of her life, Louis Emerson. They were married on May 17, 1980 and celebrated 41 years of marriage this year.

Johnnie worked as a School Secretary for many years. She was a great cook and loved signing in the Gospel Choir at church.

She is preceded in death by father, Issac Betts; mother, Augusta Betts

Johnnie leaves many loving memories with her family, husband Louis Emerson; son Louis Emerson, and wife Denishia Darden; daughter Alicia Schust, and husband Brian Schust; granddaughter Yalissa Emerson; granddaughter Kennedi Emerson; grandson Louis Emerson; along with many other loving relatives and a host of friends.

Private Family Services will be held at a later date.
