John Thomas Olive

John Thomas Olive age 82 passed away Friday, February 24, 2012 at his Bixby, Oklahoma residence. John was born in Antlers, Oklahoma to Tom Olive and Thelma (Hudson) Olive on November 10, 1929. He graduated from Antlers High School and Central State University. He worked for fourteen plus years as an Instructor for OSU - Okmulgee. John also worked for Champlain Petro as a District Manager. He liked to do crossword puzzles and travel to New Mexico. He moved to the Bixby area coming from Tahlequah, Oklahoma about five years ago. Johns was preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Thelma Olive He is survived by his wife, Mary Jo (Massengale) Olive of Bixby, his sons, Marcus Olive of Tahlequah, Jay Olive of Houston, Texas his four sisters, Mary Wood of Dallas, Texas, Betty Wood of Ft. Smith, Arkansas, Sharon Deloace of Tahlequah, Oklahoma and Debra of New Mexico along with other family members and friends. A private family service will take place at a later date.
