John Ferguson

John L. Ferguson, of Tulsa, passed away Friday, June 13, 2014 at the age of 81. He was born January 28, 1933 in Russellville, AR. He was a 1951 graduate of Webster High School and earned his law degree from the University of Tulsa in 1964. John served in the United States Army for two years. He was a member of Cedar Ridge Country Club for 42 years and an avid golfer. He had a banking career spanning 42 years and retired from the American Heritage Bank in 1999. John was preceded in death by his son Clay Ferguson. He is survived by his wife Nancy; son Matt Ferguson, daughter Jeri Ferguson; four grandchildren Garrett, Kendall, and Connor Gibson, and Hannah Ferguson; brother in law Charles Schaff and his wife Mae.
A casual gathering celebrating John's life is scheduled for 6:00 - 8:00 PM Thursday, June 19 at the Schaudt-Teel Funeral Service in Tulsa.
