John E Mcmillan, Jr

John E. McMillan, Jr. age 79 passed away Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

John was born in Church Point, Louisiana to John Emmitt McMillan, Sr. and Lucille M. (Richard) McMillan. He graduated from Sunset High School and served in the United States Air Force. He met the love of his life, Ataloa Dykes and they joined hands in marriage in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. John enjoyed traveling, camping and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Lucille McMillan.

John is survived by his wife, Ataloa of Glenpool, his daughter, Ann Voss and her husband, Terry, his son, Bruce McMillan and his wife, Marcella, his sister, Lucille Simon of Sunset, Louisiana, his grandchildren, Janis E. McMillan of Marlow, OK, Levi Voss and his wife Megan of Kellyville, Felicia McMillan of Tulsa, John Wayne McMillan of Mounds, five great grandchildren, two nephews, Brian and Boyd Boudreaux of Sunset, Louisiana one niece, Shelly LaVergne of Carencro, Louisiana along with other family members, friends and acquaintances.

Visitation is 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, August 6, 2015 at Schaudt's Funeral Service in Glenpool, Oklahoma.

Services are 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 7, 2015 at Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Service Chapel, 719 E. 141st Street, Glenpool, Oklahoma. Pastor Robert Gaches will officiate.
