John D. Freeman, Jr., born December 25, 1936, in Memphis, Tennessee, to John D. Freeman, Sr., and Frances J. Hilliard Freeman. Passed into his eternal life Friday, June 5, 2020.

John's family moved to Tulsa when he was age three. He attended Tulsa Central High School and Tulsa University.

John joined the U.S. Army and served from 1959 to 1961, and in reserves until 1964 as a missile crewman. His career was a draftsman specializing in radio relay towers and oil processing equipment.

He met a young widow, Sue Williams, and they married in August, 1963, and he became the instant "daddy" of John, Carla, and Paula. John was a great father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
