John Carleton Schneider

John Carleton Schneider of Claremore, Oklahoma, previously of Lago Vista, Texas and Bronxville, New York, passed away early Wednesday, January 31, 2007.
Mr. Schneider was born May 4, 1928 in Detroit, Michigan to Anthony Schneider and Loretta (Colburn) Schneider. He graduated from St. Edwards University and served in the United States Navy. Before retirement he worked for MCI in New York. His career began as a Petroleum Engineer for Shell Oil, and continued as a Systems and Management consultant for IBM World Trade, Bache and Co., Peat Marwick Mitchell, American Express, and ITT. Mr. Schneider was a member of St. Mary's of Our Lady of the Lake Church in Lago Vista, Texas. He married Glenda Ray Savage on January 28, 2005 in Austin, Texas, then moved to Oklahoma one year ago.
John Carleton Schneider is survived by his former wife, Matina Zanga Schneider of Larchmont, New York, his second wife, Glenda Ray Savage Schneider of Claremore, Oklahoma, and two daughters, Marie Schneider of Stavanger, Norway and Laura Schneider of Westchester, New York. He is also survived by three grandchildren, a sister, a brother, as well as several nephews and nieces.
Services will be held at a later date in Lago Vista, Texas at St. Mary's of Our Lady of Lake Church.
