Marine Corporal, Joe R. Taylor, who served during the Vietnam War at Khe Sanh in 1968, for which he earned the Bronze Star. He was born during a snowstorm on February 7, 1948 to Eli Taylor and Martha Coffee and left on the wind in the afternoon of March 31, 2023, to walk up the road to see the Creator Of All Things.
He was a writer, a joker, a pain in the butt, a husband, and father. He left behind two daughters, three grandchildren, and one great grandson. Enjoy the walk dad.
A Public Viewing & Visitation will be held 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM Wednesday, April 05, 2023 at Schaudt's Okmulgee Funeral Service Chapel. A Funeral Service will be held 2:00 PM April 6, 2023 at Schaudt's Okmulgee Funeral Service Chapel, 220 S. Alabama Ave,Okmulgee, Oklahoma with Pastor Wallace Gambler officiating.
