JoAnna Ferne Sherrin JoAnna Ferne Sherrin, a resident of Okmulgee, passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at the age of 45. She was born February 21, 1966 to Walter and Anna Shick in McKinney, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband, James Sherrin of the home; three sons, Jessie Suggs of Blackwell, Colt Suggs of Okmulgee and James Sherrin, Jr. of Okmulgee; three step-daughters, Litha Sherrin of Holdenville, Kristina Sherrin of Allen and Stephanie Sherrin of Odessa, TX; one brother, Chris Shick of Okmulgee; six grandchildren and friend, Rhonda Arsee. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at the Shurden-Jackson Funeral Home in Okmulgee with Pastor John Proctor officiating. Pallbearers will be Sonny, Steve, Richard and Richie Sherrin, Paul Railey and Keith Mahan. Visitation will be Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Monday from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Shurden-Jackson Funeral Home in Okmulgee.
