Jimmie L Wagoner

Jimmy (Jim) L. Wagoner age 80 passed away on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at Hillcrest South Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Jim was born January 19, 1936 in Tulsa to Tim Lloyd Wagoner and Beatrice (York) Wagoner. He attended Mingo Schools and graduated from East Central High School. He went to Bacone College and graduated from NSU. He later earned his Master's Degree from OU. After college Jim joined the National Guard. Jim was a member of the football coaching staff at East Central High School and Central High School in Tulsa. Jim married Diane Welch in 1959 . He was the owner of Hurst Stone and Builders Supply. He was a member of Tulsa Home Builders Association, Oklahoma Thoroughbred Horsemen's Association and The Jockey Club in Hot Springs, Arkansas.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Tim and Beatrice Wagoner.

Jim is survived by his wife, Diane, his son, Bradley Eric Wagoner, his granddaughter, Andrea Paige Thomas, his great grandson, Ransom Thomas, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends.

Visitation will be Thursday, May 12, 1016 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Schaudt-Teel Funeral Home, 5757 South Memorial Drive, Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Services are 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 13th at St. James Methodist Church, 5050 East 111th Street South, Tulsa, Oklahoma. Dr. Gary Harber will officiate. Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery, Owasso, Oklahoma.
