Jessie Barbara Carter

Jessie Barbara Carter, a resident of Okmulgee, passed away on Monday, June 26, 2012 at the age of 71. She was born on January 31, 1941 to John and Mildred Pauline (Dunham) Runkle in Elkhart, Kansas. She was preceded in death by her parents, infant sister, Karen June and infant brother, Gary Dean and brother, John Runkle. Survivors include her husband Lee Carter of the home; two daughters; Candy Proctor of Jacksonville, FL and Becky Wright and husband, Jason of Okmulgee; step daughter; Tonja Schriebvogel of Satanta, KS; brother, Danny Runkle and wife, Versa of TX; sister; Joyce Cyr of Kansas City, KS; thirteen grandchildren; Shayna and Jessica Benike, Mason Wright, Cory and Chad Proctor, Devin Rooney, Jason and Natasha Buckner, Brittney and Brandon Jones, Kelsey Johnson and Kristin Benike and two great grandchildren, Ciara Proctor and Haley Johnson. Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 28, 2012 at the Carbondale Church of Christ in Tulsa.
