Jerry Wayne Jackson

Jerry Wayne Jackson, a resident of Okmulgee, passed away Monday, September 13, 2010 at the age of 60. He was born Tuesday, October 18, 1949 to Georgie C. and Florence Virginia (Raley) Jackson in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca Smith-Jackson and one brother, Dean Jackson. Survivors include his parents, Georgie and Virginia Jackson of Okmulgee; one daughter, Melissa Jackson and Michael Clonts of Okmulgee; one brother, Paul C. Jackson and wife, Sheri of Okmulgee; sister-in-law, Pam Jackson of Tahlequah; two nieces, Amanda Neugin and husband, Nate of Tahlequah and Tina Shanks and husband, Michael of Okmulgee; three nephews, David Jackson and wife, Holly of Tulsa, Kevin Jackson of Tulsa and Cody Jackson of Okmulgee and numerous cousins, aunts and uncles. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 17, 2010 at the Calvary Baptist Church in Okmulgee with Reverend Lawrence Matlock officiating. Burial will follow the service at the Holland Cemetery near Tahlequah under the direction of the Shurden-Jackson Funeral Home in Okmulgee. Visitation will be Thursday from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Shurden-Jackson Funeral Home in Okmulgee.
