Jerry Lee Carpenter

Jerry Lee Carpenter passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at his Tulsa residence. He was born June 29, 1955 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Gerald Dow and Bobbye Jean (Holly) Carpenter. Jerry graduated from East Central High School in 1973. He married his wife Kelli on December 26, 1989 in Miami.

Jerry worked for McElroy Manufacturing for over 40 years. He was a tool and fixture designer. Jerry could always make you laugh. If you ever asked how he was doing, he would say, "I never had a bad day in my life." Jerry's children meant the world to him. He loved spending time polishing and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle.

Jerry was preceded in death by father; as well as his best friend and brother Sherman. He is survived by his mother Bobbye Jean Carpenter; and his wife Kelli Carpenter; children: Clint Ryan Carpenter (Heather), Brent Lee Carpenter (Jennifer), Bradly Jay Carpenter (Shenista Dawn), Richard J. Johnson (Leah), and Ashley Gresh (Brian); grandchildren: Ryan, Jason, Brody, Joselyn, and Melody; sisters: Carol Moore and Pat Hutton; and brother John Carpenter (Marcie).

Arrangements have been entrusted to Schaudt-Teel Funeral Service at Memorial Park, 5757 S. Memorial Drive in Tulsa. Visitation is scheduled for 6:00-8:00 PM Friday and a funeral ceremony 11:00 AM Saturday both at the funeral home.
