Jerri Lynn Howell

August 10, 1961 — December 26, 2024

Jerri Lynn Howell, a loving wife, devoted mother, cherished grandmother, and loyal friend, passed away peacefully on December 26, 2024, in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. She was born on August 10, 1961, in Miami, Oklahoma, to Kenneth and Phyllis Herd, who preceded her in death, along with her grandparents.

Jerri grew up in Tulsa, then graduated from high school in Miami, Oklahoma. In 1984, she returned to Tulsa and began working at QuikTrip, where she met her soulmate, Rodney Carl Howell. The two fell in love and shared 39 wonderful years of marriage, building a life filled with love, laughter, and family.

She leaves behind her loving sons: Derek Burrows (Jessica), Christopher Howell (Amanda), and Jacob Howell (Nikki). Jerri was a proud and doting grandmother to nine grandchildren: Addison, Avi, and Afton Burrows; Caden, Carter, and Cooper Howell; and Zane, Lucas, and Matthew Howell. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy, and she poured her heart into creating lasting memories with each of them.

Jerri is also survived by her siblings, Pam Gosney and Kevin Herd; as well as her sister-in-law, Stacey McAllister along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends who will forever hold her memory close.

She enjoyed life to the fullest, whether she was lounging by the pool, visiting the casino, or attending her children's countless sporting events when they were young. Jerri was an ever-present source of encouragement, balancing fun and discipline as she raised her family. Her home was always filled with love, warmth and good food.

She loved trips to St. Louis to cheer on the Cardinals with her husband Rodney and enjoyed adventures with her children's baseball teams, the family also made several memorable visits to Six Flags. Jerri's legacy is one of unconditional love, strength, and joy. Her impact on those she touched will endure, and she will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her.
