Jerrald R.C. Morrow, a lifelong resident of Okmulgee, died Sunday, January 20, 2013 at the age of 77. He was born on November 3, 1935 in Okmulgee County to Rupert (RC) and Lillie (Arnold) Morrow. He was married to Rose (Gainor) Morrow in Okmulgee on October 26, 1956. R.C., as he was known by all his friends and family, was a longtime carpenter in Okmulgee County. He joined the Army during the Korean War in 1952-1956. While his children were in school, he was a big fan of Okmulgee Athletics. He also was a big fan of the Dallas Cowboys. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rose; his loving parents, his oldest sister, Helen Long; brothers, Kenneth and Donald Morrow and grandson, Jeremy Jones. Survivors include his children, Darla Morrow (Kenny Hager) of Morris, Ronnie Morrow (Terri), Rocky Morrow (Denise) and Mark Morrow, all of Okmulgee; brother, Dale Morrow of Las Vegas, NV; sister, Chessie Hogul of Frederick, OK; grandchildren, Ronnie Morrow, Jr., Paige Morrow, Chad Morrow, Jacque Morrow, Tiffany Morrow, Beth and Amanda Morrow; great grandchildren, Riley, Karsyn, Wyatt, London and Conlee. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 24, 2013 at the Shurden-Jackson Funeral Home Chapel in Okmulgee with Brother L.D. Davis officiating. Burial will follow the service at the Okmulgee Cemetery under the direction of the Shurden-Jackson Funeral Home in Okmulgee. Pallbearers will be Ronnie Morrow, Jr., Chad Morrow, Terry Morrow, Danny Nichols, Ronnie Morrow and Rocky Morrow. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Shurden-Jackson Funeral Home in Okmulgee.
