Jennifer Trevino

Jennifer (Young) Trevino, 29, passed away February 20, 2012, at her home in Tulsa, OK with her husband at her side. She was born December 19, 1982 in Cheyenne, WY to Tony and JuDean Young. Jennifer married her best friend and the love of her life, Jacob Trevino, on September 4, 2010 in Cheyenne. Jennifer was a 2001 graduate of Cheyenne East High School. Her dedication to her community touched many through her work in the medical field in Cheyenne, starting in high school working part-time in senior health care. She then qualified as a CNA and began working toward her Licensed Practical Nurse certification through Pickens Tech in Aurora, CO. She loved her chosen field and enjoyed that she had the opportunity to help those in their time of need. She was well known for her uplifting spirit and commitment to her patients. She is survived by her husband, Jacob Trevino of Tulsa; parents, Tony and JuDean Young of Cheyenne; brothers, Daniel and Mark Young of Cheyenne; a sister, Kristen Young of Laramie; and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Joe and Terri Trevino of Cheyenne. Jennifer was preceded in death by her grandparents, G. Waid Young and Dorothy Young, and her uncle, Roger Young. Services will be Saturday, 10:00 a.m., at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Lincolnway Chapel. Pallbearers will be Andrew Dykshorn, Andrew Dyl, Corey Letson, Daniel Young, Mark Young, and Ben Trevino. Interment will be in Cheyenne Memorial Gardens.
